Every time I've had to go to the emergency room, which, unfortunately, is more than my share, I have to wait an hour or hours because the illegals and the bums are taking up the beds. There was once a time when I was waiting for an X-ray, almost screaming in pain, and they shut the curtain in the back of the room. Meanwhile, a family of most-likely illegals brought their baby in, and the doctor asked the whole family if they had any sort of medical problems at all, even a hangnail, and admitted every single one of them. There was no line at the X-ray room. They just forgot all about me while messing with those Mexicans. Then the whole time, I could hear drunken bums yelling all kinds of bullshit. They had no reason at all for being there. I had to run out into the hall wearing a hospital gown and yell for somebody to get me to X-ray and get me some pain medicine.

I just went to part-time status for health reasons, but I still pay for all of my bills and health insurance. They should have a separate hospital for those who don't. They're supposed to send them to county, but how the hell do they do that? Ambulance brigade? I would rather they just kick them out. Shit, build a county hospital for them right next to every hospital for people who work and contribute to society. Make it "separate but equal" if they have to, but I pay for my health insurance and I deserve medical care when I need it.

I have sympathy for people who can't work, because I may be one soon, but I'll always pay my own way, or Tony will. I might not even have a problem with health and prescription assistance as long as it is something like heart medicine, and not viagra or something to make more spit or eye juice...but I mean for people who have worked all of their lives until they couldn't, and definitely US citizens, legal immigrant or not. An illegal alien is an invader and an enemy of the US.

About the ONLY positive side I can see....at one time when this first came about they spoke of granting citizenship to those illegals who are are, but imposing insanly stirct laws on any others who try to get into the country or sneam in ther after. Is this still the case or has that facet gone by the wayside? I have to be honest I dont keep up much with politics because it makes me super-pissed and just wrecks my day when I hear shit like this.

Personally my stance is fuck em all, if you want to be legal great, go for it, I wont begrudge anyone wanting to be here. Even with its flaws, the US isn't all that bad and could certianly be worse. But I get upset when the idea is that theres no money or social order at home, lets go to the US illegally and do our part to make a good country just like ours. To me its like driving a piece of shit car, seeing a better car and prying the door handle off and knocking out the glass so you can get into it easier.

Everytime someone defends mexicans for not being able to learn english I take them to the mongolian BBQ and asian buffet I frequent on weekends so they can meet the asian waitress thats been in country less than a month and speaks almost perfect fucken english. The fact of the matter is this. At this point, it doesn't matter what the fuck we do, the damage is done. No one I have ever spoken to on this issue has a problem with LEGAL immigrants, you know, the people who actually become naturalized, learn our language and make an attempt to be useful members of our society. I've never seen anyone try to block a Mexican from applying for legal citizen ship.

I have a unique perspective on this...as a member of the media I interview/meet and in some cases become friends, with many of our local, state, and even national representatives (I've gone boar hunting with Gov. Sonny Perdue...he got one I didnt, imagine that)

The bottom line is they are all full of shit.

Most of them are in politics for the same reason I got into t.v. and film (i.e. how can I get a decent paycheck without doing much actual work?)

There are a FEW who want to represent their constituants but for the most part they want to collect a check and furthur their career.

Honestly the more Im in this biz the less I feel that voting is important to the process.

It's like a mindless cycle of assholery....but that's just my opinion.
