Door magnets for the taxi

For temporary Advertising, instead of magnets let me suggest window static clings (I used them a lot also). They don't last as long as magnets and depending how large your ad is, may take a while to get on, but won't hurt anything.

K maybe I'll just get some vinyl decals to put on my trailer that I plan on building for it. Right now when I do it I just throw everything in the back of the car but I want to get a trailer with a 100 gallon tank so that I can truly be a mobil detailer. Right now I have to go to people's homes and use their water. I absolutely love detailing cars, and my customers so far love how their cars turn out. Just can't do it full time yet, not a big enough client list yet.

Mags are good temp displays, but remember to use them very temp.
But I digress.

I used Magnets alot when I had my Limo Co. - Just Married signs, Company name & logos that were removable so when working with other Companies I could take my name off (they don't like your name on the car under their contract - LOL), and used Magnet flames on my 85 Caddy "Hot Rod" package.
If you use them for long, they will mess with the paint, but even a SHORT time (I'm talking just a few DAYS) will distroy the clear coat / wax job... specially if they get wet (moisture gets under them and as it dries, heats up (boils) the wax & clear coat and will leave a "ghost" imprint that will need buffed out (if your lucky).
For further proof, just pull off one of them "Support Ribbons" that have been on a car for any lenght of time.

There's a guy down here that does car detailing and such. He has a buick hearse he uses to advertise with "Limo's to Lemons, We bring your dead car back to life". Or something very close to that. Great guy and does a hell of a job.

Thanks for the advice! I'll make sure they are only on when I'm actually out detailing. I'll be sure to take them off on the days I'm not,and when I'm out on the road.

I only put mine on once I get to the event anyway. I would never leave them on in the rain, or at least take them off as soon as possible after getting wet.
We had a couple vehicles at work that started to get discolored and had little rust pinpoints develop underneath where the magnets were. Though I can't recall how long they were on there before checking them - maybe 6 months or so?

Great idea and looks good too!
Instead of actual prices, for me I'd do the whole arm/leg reference.
