So I put the motor and trans in the 58 Cadillac M+M yesterday, and today I went to re-install the cross members and bolt everything down. The hydramatic trans has a bolt on cooler with water hoses that run to the water pump... Well, the cooler is bolted on right where the cross member goes. I dont know if I can remove the cooler and wire the trans lines straight to the radiator because I dont have the radiator yet... but I figure they must make a cross member that fits under the cooler, right? This motor came from a 56 Coupe DeVille, Maybe its a part specific to AC cars? Its the correct motor for the car but so many parts are different...
Asking feedback from people who know 56 - 58 Cadillacs. does the radiator have the trans line inlets? or do they make a crossmember that fits around the bolt-on cooler?

Here's the cooler, you can see where the cross member should go (3 triangular bolt holes).
