For your consideration is this vintage veiled crown whimsy hat produced during the 1960s. This hat is comprised of a deep purple (almost black) velvet ribbon that comes together in a bow. Edging the piece is a lovely fur trim that I believe is rabbit. It has the typical birdcage netting. I did notice some of the netting was missing, but not enough to deter the aesthetic of the piece. The inside circumference is 17 inches. Please note, these were meant to sit atop the head and be pinned down into place. The sizing does not affect one's ability to wear the piece as it was intended. It is an exceptional piece and would just be the perfect touch to a tailored swing or pencil dress. Who doesn't love vintage styles!!!
