I distinctly recall watching it replayed on the news the day of.

Years later, Skinny Puppy incorporated close up uninterrupted running footage of Budd's head after he hit the floor with blood continually pumping out into a concert. Always wondered where that unreleased portion was acquired from.

That blood is running out of his nose faster then my faucet,i think he is still alive a few seconds after the shot
