Another option might be to design the collar so that the metal doesn't contact the skin.

How about if all of the women get together and beat the shit out of me? That might be worth driving 2000 miles for.

you guys think it is ugly now....you haven't seen ugly! If i go into labor early because of some bull shit someone will DIE. So lets see if we can keep it to a dull roar this year shall we? It is a big place...shouldn't be too hard for parties to stay away from each other.

Look for some of this stuff on Ebay. You can find pieces starting at 96 cents, and some of them never go up. The only problem I've had was with some lazurite studs that broke, which really pissed me off because I poked the holes for them with a sewing pin. I should have noticed that they were put together with glue, but I'm just now getting into jewelry. The shipping is usually about $6-8, but they normally come in an envelope directly from an individual in China, so they're just breaking even. I think that these are just poor people, but halfway decent craftsmen, just trying to get by. They hope that some of their stuff will get bid up, and sometimes it does.
I've taken some of the stuff apart and pieced it together, which is how I made my choker. The core and the dragon mount are stainless steel wire. I need lots of practice wrapping wire, but I can solder fairly well.
Oh no, now I have to go over to Ebay and get my fix.

I do wear a choker made from lapis lazuli beads, and on the front hangs a silver dragon with a bead in its mouth. It doesn't mean anything to my relationship, but it does give me quite a zap.
For those who don't know, lapis lazuli is a lazurite stone, blue with streaks of pyrite and quartz in it. After being charged in direct sunlight for an hour, it delivers a sort of electrical energy to the wearer. Some people are more sensitive to it than others, but it makes me tingle. I also wear a bracelet, ring, and earrings. I love the stuff, especially mounted on silver.

Chris...I can't stop laughing.
If Tony wanted to collar me, I would be honored. If I had my choice, it would be leather with a double row of lapis lazuli beads. It will never happen, though. He gets mad when I talk about BDSM.
