People on the outside can't understand some of the Lifestyle choices people make. Some friends of mine are are in a D/s marrige and they never fight or argue, because they both know who is in charge and who has the say on everything. They are both well adjusted people in the community, their choice works for them. I am a firm believer of do what works for you as long as you don't bother others, then more power to you. Rock on!!

But while we are on the subject: I have often wondered what the percentage of D/s marriages end in divorce? We all know regular marriages percentage is over 50% now, but there is alot of power struggles in a regular marriage. In a D/s relationship, that is taken care of in the beginning, so alot of that is not present to cause trouble

My hubby isn't into any of that, and seeing him this visit, I'm not really sure that I want it from him. I think that Tony and I have a lot of differences, but we made a sacred commitment and we will keep it. If it's mutually acceptable, I see no problem with that. When I was in concealed carry class, the instructor started a story about a man who dragged a woman out of a car and raped her. Well said. I would like to be with a woman who was mother, sister, best friend, and lover to me. I would like to be able to cry in her lap when I was frustrated, make love with her when we were in the mood, tell her my closest secrets, and have her punish me physically when I did wrong. With three other kids and a rocky marriage which ended in my parents's divorce, I missed out on that. Most girls get to cry away the problems on Mom, or at least talk to her about them, but who knows if that is the reason? I only know whom I would dream of having as a partner, and probably never will.
