Hi, I'm Ed and my wife Michele, finally got our first hearse after searching for last two years. We picked her up in North augusta 2 weeks ago, and drove her home to North charleston. Drove like a dream. She is a 1991 Cadillac Brougham S&S Victoria. She needs a little work before any more road trips. Can't wait to bring her to ATL to show my sister. Love those vortex burgers. Just wanted to introduce us and hope to see some of you soon.http://www.myspace.com/eddieinsc

                New member also

Hello, I am also a new member. Just bought my first hearse and don't even have her home yet.(i am afraid she would blow some seals with the long drive) My husband and I went away for the weekend and i spotted her, she is a 71 cadillac(not sure on style), black, 100% original, perfect interior(blue), under 60,000 miles, she has alittle rust behind the right front wheel, but he has a new panel and a extra hood that goes with her, she needs a paint job anyway as she is alittle faded, he was the first private owner and he put flowmaster's on her and new tires. I would like to halloween her up a bit, just not sure what yet.
My oldest son(24) is the only one who thinks she is cool. i have wanted one for a long time.We live in a small town and i am sure she will cause a stir here.
I have never used message boards so don't know if i am getting this right or not, does anyone have any ideas on fixing her up? and where would i look for these things? i seen a "pimp my ride" where they inlaid bones on the hood and then put a skin over the top, i think it was neat and would like that done on the extra hood, also some cool rims and maybe change the color of the curtains, Thanks Julie

Thanks for the welcome, i look forward to talking to everyone and hearing ideas. i also want to join a club and attend shows, get together's etc...Does anyone know the closest club to me? Central Arkansas near Conway is where i live. also i read somewhere, that not all states let you drive these on the road. I belive it was on ebay and it was a first call vehicle. Any info?

Anyway, customizing is such a personal thing. I tend to go way overboard, while others sneer at me. Do what makes you happy. I am at your disposal for ideas.

                            What he said.
I customize everything differently, some things are subtle, some aren't.
