Interesting "Burnt-n-Crusty" Pictures...

The Salvage Auctions around here have gone high-tech, and a few months ago, there was a white Lincoln Towncar Hearse that went through the sale kinda cheap. I came real close to bidding on it, but bidding on crashed cars via webcam is a little risky 'cause ya can't always see what's hurt on 'em... So, today while I was b-o-r-e-d at work, I did a search to look through all the Lincoln listings 'cause I can't stop thinkin' about "the one that got away."

I can't really see buyin' a burnt one, but I thought these pics were an interesting way to see what's under the fiberglass.

I've seen folks racin' cars with roll cages that didn't look that sturdy...

That's the first burn I've seen that appears to have no usable parts whatsoever, except maybe the right rear wheel.

That thing burnt unattended, i bet it was at the funeral home and a electrical fire started while they were away or at night, it was pretty hot where the battery was and driver firewall. what do ya'll think? What a sight if it burned at night under the little garage they keep them, could you just see folks driving by and that thing in flames, scare the crapp out of them!!

Folks go check out the salvage yard it is loaded with treasure 48 pages worth and i seen 4-5 old ambulances and a couple hearses and on page 46 i belive is a pontiac hearse, most are in real good shape and could be restored, and "i belive" 2,200 was the highest price, they just sold a checker limo it looks so neat, and they have a few other limo's..
