We went back to dig it out the other day and discovered that the water pump is seized in place. Not too big of a deal, $35 and we will be fine, aside from the fact that EVERY water pump I have ever had to change has been in the dead of Colorado's crap ass winter!
The car starts without even pumping the gas and in fact started when I just attempted to see if the engine cranked while the fuel line was disconnected, which gave her a serious Christine vibe. This car wanted to get the hell OUT of that back yard!
