  • Screen Used Star Wars props (for the fellow geeks)

So I just got back home from doing a movie in St. Paul Minnesota. While there I saw an advertisement on tv saying that for a limited time some screen used props from the SW Saga were on display at the Science Museum of Minnesota, which happens to BE in St. Paul. We wrapped a day early so of course I went.

To keep from overloading the thread I'll just put a few on here. For those that are my friends on myspace, I have a seperate folder with 80 photos from the exhibit.

    Enjoy!

The Falcon, xwing, and blockade runner were each 9ft long!

That reminds me that in the game of Full Throttle (a Lucas Arts title) you can see the trucker's arm and he has the imperial tattoo on it.

Just some stupid useless trivia no one except me remembers.

At one point I was on an elevator with a family, they had a little boy, I'd guess around 7 or so who was dressed in a Boba Fett halloween costume. He saw the Bantha skull tatt on my arm and started freaking out, pointing, and saying "It's Boba Fett!"

Though clearly I'm not Boba Fett....I'm Bubba Fatt

                          LOL, no, sorry,

Starwars basically made the company ILM (Industrial Light and Magic) because the technology of the day didn't have what they needed.

Don't even get me started on Star Trek. But I'm a huge fan of both (however I do like Doctor Who the best )

Checking it out now. I know a couple of people who also have a collection similar to that. Even I have a small collection myself, including a mislabled figure I found at Toys R Us.
