Is the casket wood? I need a very light one so that I can take it in and out for sleeping in the hearse. I might be too claustrophobic to sleep in a casket!

Very thin steel. And my skinny ass can drag it in and out myself. I love it. The bedding is still wrapped up in plastic at the head of the casket. Has a few dents and scratches, but nothing major.

If you plan to sleep in a casket you will need a lot of padding. Most people who are in caskets don't really care about the comfort. The more expensive caskets have soft padding, but they are a couple thousand $.
