  • Trip through the boneyard.

This one is located in Erie, CO.
I didn't find any pro-cars, and most of what is there is in really bad shape. It still made for an enjoyable morning.

Some of those Lincolns don't look completely hosed, but I bet they are missing a ton.

Great pics! There aren't too many old iron junkyards left.

Which is probably why it’s so difficult to find a boneyard that would allow me the freedom to walk around taking pictures. Most of them do not allow access, so I was very careful to ask permission and give them no reason to regret my presence.

Looking at all those cars makes me wish I could save them all.

I didn’t see a salvageable interior all day, but there are several models that had enough repeats to put together a whole frame and body. One example of this is the row of candy-colored T-Birds. There is also a surprising amount of intact curved glass. I’d like to go back soon, as I don’t think I quite saw half the yard.

You certainly know how to spend a morning off school! And I'm willing to bet that you had enough coffee given the quality of pictures.

Moonback 'Cuda glass is expensive. That Dodge wagon is not often seen either.
