I have owned the Plymouth 1 day and they backed into it with a freaking trailor hitch. No note and they put their shitty suv in the garage so I wouldnt see any damage or paint on the bumper. Assholes!

The damage is minimal they got the front drivers corner. Bent the fender trim dented the fender and ruined the headlight bezels. Its going to cost me a couple hundred dollars in parts. I really wonder what happened to having a little respect for other people or at least the common courtesy to say "sorry, I fucked up."

Well, I have not seen the suv but there is a whole lot of circumstantial evidence that they hit her. I just took pictures the night before and the damage was not there. The house across the street is vacant but the new nieghbors started parking their suv in the driveway. The Suv was in the driveway the night she was hit and it does have a reciever hitch because they tow with it. The damage matches a reciever on an suv or pickup. The next morning the suv was in the garage and everytime they use it the put it back in the garage. They quit using the driveway the day she was hit. You can see the driveway across the street in the picture. I don't have many options. I cant pull her forward with out blocking a driveway. If I pull her back any farther I'm in front on the other neighbors yard and he parks his work truck there. I would put her in the driveway but she leaks transmission fluid. Next week she is getting painted and I am have a front tranny seal put in so I shouldn't have more problems. Just shitty how they pretend nothing happened. Its possible it was one of the teenagers, I don't see a kid owning up to anything.

Call the police non-emergency line, report a hit & run, file the form with your DMV & then tell the investicating officer what you suspect happened.

Just the allegation of being the guilty party in a hit & run will cause a bit of a headache for them. Earlier this month I had someone file a hit & run report thinking I was the one who hit them. They got the plate # characters right, but screwed up the order and amazingly both plates [mine & the real combination] were from the same town. My insurance company was getting all set to pay them thinking I did it, until they called me to ask why I hadn't reported it yet. Was resolved with the "... you do know what my car looks like, right? What was the car they described?" question.

Why not just go knock on their door, introduce yourself and ask if they know or saw anything? Being neighborly goes two ways. Might just be that their asshole kid hit your car and didn't tell them about it or someone else entirely.

Man I am so PISSED OFF AT THOSE ASS HOLES for doing that to her.. Man if i lived by you all you would have to do is point me to the house and i'd be kicking there door in for ya.. I know she is your car now but she just left here and i still feel a strong connection to her. I had her a long time, a lot of happy memories with that old girl. Did ya get the number i sent ya to that Plymouth Yard? If they are not in buisnes any more i will see what else i can find ya.. She looks good with those hub caps. I was thinking of getting a set of those when i had her and was considering makeing her in to a patrol car.. Much rather somebody is getting a better use out of her tho. Take care of her man, and remember you need any help finding anything , don't hesitate to ask. By the way i don't remember if i told ya but that paper bag has strut rod bushings for her in it. I put new ones in her about 6 years ago and bought some extra ones for her.
