Any whisk[e]y/scotch drinkers in the house?

So lately I've been trying to develop a bit of a taste for scotch, probably for all the wrong reasons, but it seems like something I should like so I'm giving it an honest go. I've tried the Glenfiddich (12) and it wasn't bad, moved onto Jamesons (also not bad) and am currently trying Jim Beam Devil's Cut.

Anybody indulge? Got a favorite?

Glenlivet Nadurra is what I drink if I'm drinking something brown. It is the only scotch/whisky that I found pleasant to drink right out of the bottle. Any thing else and I'm either inclined to add ice or put in the freezer because they are too rough at room temperature.


I usually just drink tequila though. 3 generations reposado is my favorite but hard to find around here. Don Julio makes a decent reposado and anejo but I only get it if I cannot find the other.
