Though that does not always cause sickness. A few years ago there was a seedy hotel in SoCal where a woman was murdered & thrown into the water tank on the roof without anyone noticing. People continued to drink from & bath in this water for weeks before anyone figured it out, and the only clue that anything was wrong was a strange sweet-taste to the water.
