  • Watch out Georgia.

Later this morning I'll be sailing through Georgia on my way to SC/NC. I'm not looking forward to I-20 between Birmingham and the GA state line. It's little better than a wide gravel road. Actually, a gravel road would be better because at least flying over gravel can be smooth. The expansion joints on I-20 suck major ass... or they did the last time I went through. Hopefully the Lincoln will handle them better than my Cutlass did.

I'm also a little crunchy about driving through Atlanta. I don't love it there, but that's due to unfamiliarity. At any rate, if you see a blue Town Car, give it a break... it might be me

Be safe, it's raining. Just add water to a Georgia driver, and they freak out and start trying to kill people.

I guess we should pull up the tack strips eh?

Good luck, Vamp3d is right, people can't drive for shit when there is a tablespoon of water on the roads.

It's raining? Grrrrrrrrrrrreat. The one smart thing I did yesterday was purchase Bosch Icon windshield wipers and they seem to be the shit (as far as windshield wipers go) so far. Let's hope the shit doesn't crap out.

What, they need water for that now?

On the way to NC I almost killed an Atlanta native in his Lexus ES300. We both tried to get in the same lane, but I was there first, I used my signal, and my car was bigger. I won. That was the only eventful thing that happened, save for getting stuck behind a semi carrying three containers bearing "DANGER: RADIOACTIVE MATERIALS" as well as the official warning mounted on the truck. What fun.

Stopped at the BMW factory in Spartanburg, SC, as well as boating on Lake Norman in NC. Saw a few procars, including a hacked up hearse. Couldn't tell what it was. I got a couple of pictures of it that I'll post later. I saw it in Gaffney, SC, near the big phallic peach.

Not sure if this should go in Picture Post now, but here's the hearse I saw.
