I'm trying to renew with the original registrar, and they're telling me that I'm not registered with them. What the fuck is going on?

I don't want to pay a transfer fee. Why should I?

Well, I got it done for $10 and supposedly that renews it for a year and transfers it. I got one in the mail that wanted to charge me $30!

I'm trying moniker.com. I don't know a thing about them, but they exist on the nic page, at least.

we use godaddy.com and webmasters.com at work. it's usually $9 and change

I have moved all of my domains to godaddy.com and couldn't be happier.
