  • Gas-out day

I watched every gas station on my way to work today, and aside from one old woman, every pump was empty! There are normally lines.

Of course some people will say that you have to buy gas the day before or the day after and it doesn't make a difference, but wait...first of all, it makes a point. Second of all, it will make people empowered to buy less gas. Just seeing this much success has me overjoyed.

Sunoco pays for my gas. I'm just glad to see people getting together and having some team spirit.

One of my dogs is guilty, but I don't know which one. I can hardly see the computer screen through the greenish-brown cloud.

It worked! Gas here went up .05 cents yesterday to 3.14 a gallon.

                      Hooray for Arabs! (sarcasm)

I just can't get enough of paying $45 twice a week to drive my f'n car to work.

I get $140 a month from Sunoco now that the Arabs have raised their prices, and I don't have far to go to work. I was getting nothing when oil was $10 a barrel.

There is another company that just paid me for a three-year exploration, so they're not expecting the Arabs to come down any time soon. I hope they find as much as Sunoco does.

I used to get checks from a driller J. Johnston, which I owned about .0000000000000000000000000043 of the rights. I was at my mom's house one day and she handed me a check for 67 cents from them, and I got out my lighter and set it on fire...in her kitchen. I was pretty drunk. She wasn't very happy. I did put it in the sink and put it out, though.

Gas prices are killing me too!

Having to drive from Monroe to Sandy Springs (2 to 2 1/2 hours) commute each way is drinking the gas.....thank goodness I've put in my notice and only have a few more days of it.

i'm lucky i live just 15 minutes from work, plus i get a free tank of gas a week. (company perk) but i do have to drive my truck sometimes for company business, unless i'm in the hearse or on my scooter. i can remember the days of driving from gainesville to marietta aprox 1 1/2 hr each way. sucked in the winter time leave before daylight and get back after dark. at least gas prices were lower in the late 70's but so was the paychecks.
