  • So, how was it?

The Denver trip? I am really fucked up and my coach isn't even halfway back together, so I didn't have a chance. I couldn't have driven it, on the medicines that I'm on. Wonderful to be so well stocked on sleeping bags and shit, though.

Are there pictures up, so I can at least see what I missed?

Yeah, I have been eagerly awaiting news of the depravity. And pictures, you can't have depravity without pictures. Come on, I'm sure you guys are still trying to recover, but seriously, we folks that aren't lucky enough to live where the cool folks do, live vicarously through your exploits. At least throw us a bone.

      Hey guys....

      Recovering...recovering...

It went fucking great. We didn't have any real problems at all. Honestly, it blew me the fuck away. I have done a lot of events. Normally they are chock full of adults who packed everything but their brains and need hand holding for every little detail and then bitch when some little thing goes wrong. Not this one...everyone was an adult, everyone got along and everyone had a great time. Even as the organizor it was pretty low stress, mostly because everyone was getting along and just there for whatever happened.

Friday night we went cruising downtown, holding up all traffic with 18 hearses before hitting dinner at a local diner and then we headed out to watch Ghostbusters on the big screen. I've gotten so used to seeing it on TV that I completely forgot about some of the small nuances in the flick.

Demon took people on the Forney tour Saturday morning. I didn't hit that one because I was busy getting hearses cleaned as well as some other stuff. I lucked out that several people staying with us (Sage, Christy, Chester as well as Nicole) busted their asses to help me get my heares ready.

The show itself was great. 30 Hearses in all, which yeah, isn't a HUGE number but for Denver, in the middle of the United States wasn't bad. AND a 1957 Chevy National hearse showed up and that thing was bad ass.

The plan to have a lot of girls at the meet went off well too, so we were good to go on the dames portion of the event. That night we cruised more, invaded Village Inn, then camped out.

Sunday morning was the picnic in the cemetery which was a nice mellow close to the day. Then I drove home without realizing Nicole had gotten out at the gas station and had to speed back to pick her up. Damn!

I am busy editing pictures right now so I will have them up soon! We sure as hell will be doing this again next year though, COUNT ON IT!

It sounds like it kicked ass as promised. I'm trying to get some things worked out so that I don't have to keep missing events, although I may have to bring Jenny along during the summer.

That was a very nice hearse. I would highly suggest it to anyone looking.
