To paint or not to paint, that is the question.

I have wanted to paint my car for a very long time (the paint is pretty shite) but looking at some pictures from the Hootenanny it really makes me appreciate just how f'n mean she looks with that dull green. I'm definitely doing the interior soon and redoing the motor for the 3rd time but I'm kind of on the fence on if I actually *want* to paint and lose that meanness that shitty paint seems to convey.

What do you think? Leave the rat ass paint or go super shiny metal flake with bass boat flake scallops?
