The storms the other day apparently claimed the HDMI port on our DVR. Did all of the normal troubleshooting steps to narrow it down to that and that we have cloud copies of all the shows we have saved.
I get on chat with Xfinity (which is right next to sitting on a plane while somebody gets up to put something in an overhead bin) and order a new one. Everything seems to be going well and then suddenly the modem reboots and it provisions our internet connection with the old speed again. This is the 5th time this has happened...
If they weren't the only game in our town we would probably switch in a heartbeat.
Now chatting with the guy they never show that an order was placed for me to get gigabit (I have screenshots) so I just sent him the 5 different order numbers where they supposedly added it.
Fuck this is frustrating.
