I think most drugs should be legal, including prescriptions. The problem is that most people are morons. Too many people have no self control. Too many people can not exercise moderation. So because we can not police ourselves, the government must do it for us.

I dont smoke it either, but having tried it a few times and having been drunk a few times, Id rather have someone stoned out of their gourd driving behind me than all gooned-up on alcohol. That, and I came pretty close to being killed by a drunk driver, the decision to take the 75 three way instead of a 97 Ford Escort saved us.

Part of it for me as well is my general feeling that people should be able to do what they want. If you want to go home, snort cocaine until your heart explodes....well...whatever flaots your boat is fine by mine.

Pot isnt something you can be addicted to, at least not pysichally, its cheap and easy to grow, natural, nor real harmfull to the body, is pretty self regulation, can be taken in moderation and wouldnt be that hard for the government to regulate if that became the issue. I dont think anyone under the age of 18 or 21 should be allowed to buy or possess it and I dont thinkdriving while under its influence should be legal. But by God, if someones had a long day and they want to smoke a bowl to relax, fine by me. Its not something I choose to partake in but I think the fact that its illegal is retarded.

I would have to agree with the pot/alchohol comparison. I myself have never tried it but I have been around plenty who have. Out of those, I have never seen anyone more wasted on pot than drunk on alcohol. And to further this this comparison, I have never seen anyone high on pot, beat up thier wife and/or kids, fly into unprovoked rages and try to beat and/or kill their friends and family which they would never consider doing sober. But I have with people blind drunk on alcohol. Now, I'm not saying that it hasn't happened. I'm just saying I have never witnessed it first hand.

I've tried it. I love it. If it was "legal" [pronounced: I was able to grow the shit without getting caught] I would have to take up the habit. Its just like being drunk with out having to piss every 15 seconds and you don't have the desire to get up anyway. Legalise it and put a state tax stamp on it and sell it at the QT. How can the old fuckers that have never tried something to see how harmless it is say it is bad. Medical science has proven it is not dangerous and even very beneficial! My ex father inlaw has heart problems and after years of dealing with it he started smoking all the time. His doctors say his heart is better than ever. Why? No stress. It makes you very mellow and lowers your blood pressure. How is that bad. You don't get sloppy like alcohol, you get lazy and don't get up.

Case in Point: I was fucking starving one night. I mean so fucking hungry I was looking for food susbtitutes, so I ordered a pizza. I was so fucked up I couldn't remember they deliver and I was so fucking unwilling to get up it took me 3 hours to go get it. If I was drunk I would have had no problem crawling to the truck to go kill a car full of nuns by crossing the center divider.
Moral of the story: If I was drunk I would have killed myself and a bunch of nuns and without me the world would shut down. Then people would start eating there own shit and each other just to stay alive. It would be bad. Since I was high and not drunk, I live on and the world is a happy place (except for a few sicko's that eat there own shit and other people).

Like i said in a recent rant. It has gotten soooo fucking bad, that allI see are blobs of ballistic gelatin walking around. I don't drink much water. At least not tap water. I am beginning to wonder if they are putting chemicals in the water that are both making people fucking retards, and making all 13 year old girls pregnant, so they can get an early start breeding retards. If you legalize pot you have to also consider ecstasy. I think so many problems would be solved if you legalized these kinds of drugs. hell it would be ok even if you had to go to a doctor so he could decide that you were ok to take these drugs. Then give you a set amount for a set time. Especially with ecstasy people can put anything they want in them. A lot of people have gotten very sick because of this. So if it was gov't regulated you would know exactly what you were putting in your body

If you had to go get a "check up" to take drugs a doctor would be able to explain the pros and cons of the drugs. Also how to keep yourself safe. Like drink water, and make sure you don't over heat. It would solve a bunch of problems.

In contrast to those who say that they've never smoked it, I have smoked what amounts to abount 40,000 joints, so I would be a hypocrite if I said I didn't want it legalized. I don't smoke it anymore because it would make me fat, but I sure dud love it.

My opinion is:

Marijuana tends to enhance whatever a person is feeling, like sex, the feel of snow under your skis, deep sea fishing, building funeral racers, or watching television. In fact, you just about have to be stoned to watch TV anymore.

You never know what mood to expect from someone who is drinking. I've seen them laugh, cry, get angry, stupid, philosophical, violent, and just plain fucking weird.

Hospital drugs mostly make people miserable. Try some zypreza or thorazine and see how much better you feel...it's the ultimate cure for euphoria.
