most of my gear just sits in the corner of my bedroom collecting dust, I'll drag them out every couple months or so just to make some noise but haven't played seriously since '99. hell I've been working on converting my gibson miii to a hard tail for 2 1/2 years now. At least the es135 is still complete. And the "frankenpeavy" is having ground/noise issues.

Yeah. Hollowbodies have become a serious addiction for me, not to mention an expensive one.But i always keep at least 1 solid body, I have a fully modified epiphone SG, but the SGs are too light for my taste, so I never play it. Now I have my 85 Gibson Sonex 180 deluxe, and my les paul, so I have a good variant going. I love the les pauls weight. Heavy ass guitars rule.

I haven't picked up a guitar in 20 years, but I had some kind of Les Paul copy with a real soft action, which is what I like. A teenager taught me to play Jimi Hendrix, which I thought was really cool because of the chords that he used.
A cow-orker and I used to take our guitars in to work at night, and about 3am, we would take a break for a couple of hours and play. Then we would stop at a bar at 7am and have a few beers, and go over to his house and play some more. He was the one who taught me to press my fingers into a cold beer can when they got to be too sore to play. One day we took the guitars inside the bar and played and were politely asked to leave, butt-first.
Jenny has a teenage friend who is a guitar phreak, and he's teaching her a few riffs. Tony's a bass player, and I bought him an electric, but he prefers to play a doghouse. I used to play a set, but the dog pissed all over it and ruined it. Never took a lesson. I don't really like to play a set unless it's really high quality, anyway, especially the crash/ride, hi-hat and bass.
I want to get another guitar, but we can't spend any money with the ranch on the way.
