I have a big Matchbox garage separate from my Matchbox house. If it comes down to it, I'll let ya store your Matchbox hearses next to my Matchbox hearses in my Matchbox backyard.

FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!! I just found out the other day that they made the white ones...... now it seems their all gone....

I picked up a white one the other night. Theres some dumb ass on ebay screwing eyelets into them and selling them as christmas tree ordiments and keychains for like 10-15 bucks. He's claiming their handmade and they have rubber tires. It's probably one of you guys haha.

I've seen white ones in the Johnny Lightning "Wicked Wagons" series, but I bought the black one 'cause it's almost exactly like my '68. It's got soft rubber tires on it instead of the Matchbox-type hard ones.

I wonder how many many tries it took 'em to get the eyelet in the right place so it would hang level. heh heh.

I had not even known they had the white ones out until a few days ago. BUT I hit the mother load tonight. I was xmas shopping with a friend at the Stockbridge WalMart and we found 1 white matchbox hearse. I've all but given up on the JL one's. Nobody sells them around here. Anyway, After she left to go home, I went tot he JOnesboro WalMart and found 1 more. Cool I finally found a couple. One the way home I stopped by WM on Panola, can we say grain of salt in a pepper shaker? No white hearses there, except for mine. So I stopped at Wm in Conyers. They NEVER have any. I think I have found 2 black ones there in the past. Went to the toy aisle, none. Well Hell, I'll go home. Behind the Bike display they had a matchbox display set up, about 3' tall, 4' wide. Slap full of Matchbox cars. I went through every one. I found 15 white hearses. Yes 15 I was giddy. So I went to Covington and found another 3.
20 white matchbox hearses in one night. Not a bad haul. I think I have more white ones now than the black ones.

Still Havn't found any (except for the purple one in the scooby doo set) in Charleston SC area. Hope my wife found some white ones and holding them until christmas.

Oh wow, I don't think I've ever seen a big Matchbox display around here -- there's usually just a few pegs of MB's in the stores here. Once in a while there's an endcap with HotWheels or sometimes a huge basket of 'em out in the center aisle... But everybody's stingy with the Matchbox space in these stores near here!

The JL's are hard to find here too, I guess I was just lucky to get the two black ones that I got.

I was at Target on Saturday and found a white one. The I went to Toys R' US and found another white one...then while looking at transformers....I noticed sitting tucked under one transformer....was another white hearse!!!! Whats the odds? So 3 in one night for me. The girl at the counter gave me a look because all I bought was 2 lil white hearses during christmas season hell.

I bought all 3 tonight that my local Wally world had. So I got 3 black and 3 white now. I think Im done searching.
