  • Barbarella

If I ever wake up and find a stupider movie than Barbarella on my television, I'm gonna shoot myself in the head and go home the easy way. I'm sorry, but this plot, put together with Jane Fonda and 750 rolls of Glad Wrap, made me wake up with the dry heaves.

Don't spoil the plot. I had my wife record it for me. TCM Underground rocks. That's what underground is, serious underground, cult, B-rate, trash that should be taken tounge in cheek. They usually show a lot of old Sid Haig movies.Another good one is Faster Pussycat Kill Kill. Check them out.

Yeah, I fall asleep watching chick flicks on TCM, and usually wake up with something ridiculous on. Their old version of Imitation of Life with the Aunt Delilah's pancake mix had me laughing so hard that I nearly fell out of bed.

Speaking of old movies, I am trying to find a copy of Death Race 2000. My wife has never seen it and I just love that old movie. Stars David Carradine, Sly Stallone, and the guy who played Gofer on the Love Boat.

There is a special edition dvd. Also, there is a sequel (or remake?) coming in 2008 starring Jason Statham. Death Race

Probably just another attempt by hollywood to take an old low budget classic, throw a bunch a money at it, and loose everything that made the original great.

I seen that but I think they just have the race idea and nothing else seems like the DR2000 movie. But it does star Jason Statham.

Hollywood makes movies just to lose money. Saves them on taxes by losing money on a movie, offsets the billions they make on the $8-10 ticket prices they charge us to see any of thier movies, good or crappy.

Does anyone have that description that I posted of an EOR (equal opportunity remake) movie? That's one of the funniest posts I've ever made and I'd like to have it, but I can't remember much of it.

                  thanks
