I felt OK the last few days, so I spent a little time on the 76 Chrysler Brougham. The new booster is in, and it works so well that it will put me through the windscreen if I'm not careful. They're major luxury car brakes, just take a little touch. I could adjust them, but I kind of like them. If someone in front of me slams on the brakes, I do it without even having to think about it. It is set up to trailer 7500# too, so I want good brakes in case a trailer's brakes don't work as well as they should.
It drives great. All I have to do is hook up the brake/cruise switch, and adjust everything on the carb that was affected by that huge vacuum leak. I can tell already that it's going to pass like a new car, if I want to lean it out that much.
Once the vacuum is OK, I should be able to get everything on the Autotemp working. It relies mostly on vacuum, more so than the GM Climatron system. What the fuck, though, it's almost sunroof season!
