Got Me a Job Today

After a few months of not working (by choice) boredom has really set in so I decided to start looking for a job.

At the end January I go to a temp service (because they do the searching for you). They call me yesterday with a position that everyone they have sent this company didn't like......so I said sure I'll go interview with them. The temp service gives me directions to this place which was totally wrong so I get lost. After they get some one on the phone to give me the right directions I make it to the interview.........40 minutes late!!!!!!!

I come home throw my cell phone in the other room because by now I have a headache and just want to eat not be bothered......... a few hours later I check my phone see I missed a call from the temp service and a voicemail. I decide to check it thinking they were just wanted to see how everything went. Instead I get a message that this company loved me and wants me to start Monday!!!!


This is just funny to me because I really didn't do much in the interview but just sit there and listen!!!

I will be running the office for a roofing company. It is a very small company so they only need me to come in and take care of things a few hours a day.

I'm assuming the directions given to ALL the previous applicants must have been wrong, and that was why they didn't like any of them - because they were all late.

I just spoke with the temp service this morning actually she called me to THANK me for WOWING them!!!! She said they have sent so many people there and they just didn't like them. She also said they were about to pull the plug on them with the search too....she went on to say I saved them!!!.

They didn't care that I was 40 minutes late to the interview......I showed them the wrong directions I was given!

The best parts of this job is: it is part time something like 9-2 every day, no traffic, and I can wear jeans!!!!
