I think it may be about time to cut the hair...

After having long hair for what seems like forever (I think the last time it was short was when I went and interviewed for Bellsouth.net in like '98) and it may be time for a nice pompadour.

I never let it down (Shadow once called me a 'hair farmer' - "keep it corralled and safe and just let it grow"), it's a pain in the ass to keep nice and clean and sane looking on a daily basis (and is a bit more obvious when I'm being lazy now that I work days) and with heavy riding season approaching - it's just that much easier to put on a helmet without 3½ feet of hair hanging out of it.

I have had long hair most of my life. Not as long as yours, just to the middle of my back. I cut it last summer and I still can't get used to it. I still am not sure if I like being with out it even after 8 months.

It's hair if you cut it and don't like you can always grow it back out.

I had my hair cut to my shoulders back in 2000 and HATED it so I let it grow back out.

when i had to make that choice, mine was close to the middle of my back I went just the opposite and shaved my head bald. Figured can't have long hair, i want no hair.

I forgot about the donation thing....if you have no use for that long hair you can donate it. My sister does that every couple of years and actually just did it right after Anna was born. All they need is about 10 to 12 inches of hair in a pony tail.
They take the hair and make wigs for children with cancer.

They tried to go after mine not to long ago.........I changed the subject quickly

Shit, remember when I did it?. I went from long red hair to spokesperson for gillette razors. Red hair is hard as fuck to maintain, especially the naturally wavy type like ours. I miss it, don't get me wrong, but I do not regret my choice.

I still have long hair, never made it past day 2...
