Our luck could be turning

We've been having water on the floor, inside and out around the kitchen, and I thought maybe our iron pipes had rotted inside the wall because of the changes that the water company has made, changing the pH of the water.

I decided to check everything else first, though, and when I pulled out the refrigerator, the plastic line going to the icemaker was douching. I turned off the valve and the noise stopped.

Could life actually be giving me a break instead of shitting all over me?
