I'm watching this movie with Samuel Jackson, where he wrecks someone's car, and to get revenge, the guy calls the school and says that he's a nut and is going to abduct his children. Then he makes a call to Jackson's cell phone, and when he comes running in after his children, they call the police. He gets thrown to the floor, cuffed and hauled away.

How fucking familiar! You can have anyone arrested or locked away in a nuthouse just by making a phone call. Doesn't anyone believe that we can take care of ourselves and our families, or that one word we say isn't a lie that they're already waiting to hear?

Revenge, I can get, and it will be served up cold, but that doesn't do the other 300 million people any good. (see my signature)

I love watching the two of them almost get on speaking terms and go back and forth to mortal enemies, then talking again. It's an action movie with a chick flick ending. The part about the school just got to me though...I can't get over this fucking thing. I watch COPS and they let the most screwed-up psychofucks go because they don't want help, and over here, I invite them in and have a friendly conversation and they drag me away in irons.
