Yes, this is a topic that go on forever, but I just have one question. I have two XP machines, one was a pre-loaded E-machine, and one is a Pentium 4 XP that I loaded from media.
Each of these machines has four drives that are shared onto my laptop. The first time I shared them, I had to put in my username and password (on both machines), and now the E-machine drives don't require a password, but the Pentium 4 drives do. You don't have to tell me that an E-Machine is a piece of shit. I just need to know why I have to put the password in to connect the Pentium4. The drives are there, they just say "disconnected" until I click on them, then they want a password. The E-drives already say "connnected.
Is there a setting somewhere?
thanks
