  • so what do you think

where do you think our great country is heading?

how will the president help resolve the crisis at hand ?

don't hold back let out your true feelings, obama is a great speaker but is he a leader ?

mccain has experience but will he be around long enough ?
america has went from being an agriculture state, to an indusltrial state, to being a police state for other countries, and all super powers have fallen but the u.s. so where does that leave the future of our children ?

just pondering about what we will see in our future .

Hell in a handbasket is where we're headed. I'd rather see Obama win than McCain and I think Obama has a lot of good ideas. However I don't like everything he stands for. However Bush wasn't ready to lead either apparently and McCain is pretty much the same crap under a new name. In short I think Obama is less evil, however he's sitll evil.

I really wish Ron Paul would win but that will never happen because we get brand A and brand B to choose from. No one mentions a third option hardly ever and when I say his name everyone goes "Ron who?".

Either way we're going to become even more of a police state. Our civil liberties are in major jeopardy thanks to the attacks on 9/11 (guess what, the terrorists won, life sucks here now). Both will continue this same line of thinking under the banners of "stoping terrorism" and "protecting the children". I predict a future where suspected terrorists are just shipped off to "work camps" and pedophiles get to wear fancy little patches on their clothes, and repeat offenses get them shipped off to the same "work camps".

Obama talks a great talk, but has never run a big company. What makes him think he could run a whole country? I have read SEVERAL articles about him and his Muslim ties, not placing his hand over his heart, wife never being proud of this country, bad choice of mentors that hate whites, the list goes on and on and on.
McCain at least has a decent and consistant track record. He is not my favorite, but at least I know what I am getting.

i am in agrrement with you on this, i think i will do a write in vote just to see how many votes he receives.
it is sad to say another term or two of dipshits that have been running the country and maybe it will produce a wake up call and allow some one like ron paul, who doesn't owe anybody but the amrerican people his time and devotion.
the irsih mafia (and yes i have irish blood) got kennedy elected, and proably helped get him out.
now you have the chiacago influence over obama, so i think we need to worry about ho our vice president will be. remember ford after nixon and johnson after kennedy, those were some abnormal years for america.
how do you controll a nation ? with fear and nowing whats best for the public . (bullshit)
so another term of bush's beliefs if mCcain is elected, i don't think this ol' country can stand much more.

Before anyone bashes Obama, I'll have you know that I managed to get myself elected head of the entertainment for his anaga-ration ceremony.

Ain't gonna be no Beach Boys this time, Jack.

We start by handing out a prayer rug to every American, regerdless of citizenship status, at a cost of only $678,322,427 (made in China). I call that a boggin if they evah is one. Before the inaga-ration begins, we will say our prayers to Allah.

Once we have established our new American religion, we're going to take a look at our roots, from slavery to today, the United States of African-America. I thought we'd start out with a little "Jump Down Turn Around", then up through the blues, R&B, the beginnings of fuck and rap, and wrap it up (haha, no pun intended) with a modern-day Rapper...a personal friend of the presdent-elect's and....um, hang on a
minute....um...we can't? Oh, Well, get somebody else then.

It seems that the rapper we had planned is, um, no longer available; in fact, I'm not even allowed to say his name in affiliation with the president-elect, but I'm sure we'll find somebody. It fitibe a good 8 years. Allah akbar!

To me, Obama is a set of unknowns. The little I do know bothers me. McCain on the other hand is out there to see exactly for who he is. Not my ideal either, but I know what I am getting. Had I my choice though, I would put Ross Perot in office. This guy can run a business, and that is what our government has become.

Then again, maybe I'm just talking out of my ass....

Obama wants to take away our 2nd amendment rights so he can go die for I care, I would never vote for him.
And his idea of taxing the oil companies and using the money to help the poor is fucking retarded! If he does that we will NEVER see low gas prices again.
Then there is the socialized health care bullshit. This may sound good at first, but give it a few years and the system will get backed up and the wait for treatments will get much longer. Socialized health care will lead to rationing of health care, and lower quality doctors as all the good people will stop choosing that field over something where they can still make good money.
I could go on for 3 pages why I hate Obama, but you get the point.

I have never been a big fan of McCain either but he is far better than Obama, and I really like his choice for VP so he will get my vote.

I am really tired right now so if any of this doesn't make sense tough shit!

                          3 in fact.

If he wasn't dead though I'd probably vote for him.

BIGEVIL I watched your video... more right wing bullshit, but at least it was well edited and it did make a lot of good points. However McCain is no better and neither is his VP pick who has about as much experience as Obama from what I gather.

Still I wouldn't stay home like Carlin said (even though he does have a very valid point). I'm going to go throw my vote away on a third party just to make a point, maybe. If it's not too late to register that is. However if it is... I really don't care that much anyway.

In any case one of the brands will win because it happens to be on sale this month, and then we'll all be magically drinking urine again for the next four to eight years.

                            .

Was thinking the same thing a few elections ago, then I realized that a 'throw-away' IS a vote for one of the incompedents... (e.g. just subtracts a vote from one or the other) and really doesn't make any point, but missing votes actually shows up in the numbers. Now if we got enough people that DON'T vote at all, maybe (Just MABYE) someone will see the numbers and say "Hey, voting #'s are WAY down - maybe we should get someone in WORTH voting for" and THAT is when I'll vote again!!!

When I vote - it will be for who I feel would be the BEST for the job... Why the hell would anyone vote for the LESSER of the WORSE??? Isn't that like lowering your values to fit theirs?
Doesn't really make sence to me.

Ya, too bad Carlin's dead - he'd get my vote, too. I've seen many of his shows and interviews - he knows the PEOPLE are the stupid ones and are to blame (read above)... CARLIN GET'S IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm probably going to vote for Bob Barr as well, not necessarily because I like him, but because I want the libertarians to pick up some damned momentum and actually do something (that, and I want to have a clear heart that I didn't vote for which ever asshole does get elected).

I can't stand McCain, I really and truly from the bottom of my heart hate that motherfucker. We're screwed either way. One is a socialist (obama) and the other is a big business pandering, big government, war monger who wants to let every illegal in this country become a citizen through a fast track. Fuck that.

When Bush took office, gas was 1.46 a gallon - now 3.53 seems like a bargain, the economy sucks and we are at war and pissing over everybody and their brother - the idea of 4 more years of that just scares me.
