Well for starters, my name is Tim and I have been into cars since I was 12. My first resto was a Packard/Henney 180 formal. It took several years to complete and in the end it wound up being shown all over including Pebble Beach. It was a 98+ point car, and 35 years later I am still proud of that.
As life went on I owned a 1966 DS21 Citroen hearse, a 1940 Packard/Henney flower car, A 1934 Marmon V-16 salesman special (bathtub and stove in back), a 1962 Cad S&S, a 1950 Coast fire engine a 1960 American La France Series 600 fire engine, a 1981 Superior funeral coach, a 1968 Checker Aerobus (twice) and that's just off the top of my head.
2 of my vehicles went on to be show cars. The 62 S&S was tricked out by the company I was working for at the time. Variously sponsored by Orion, Zapco, ADS, JBL, Hartke and more. The license plate was interesting. I ordered a vanity plate, but when it arrived the DMV manager refused to give it to me because it was in poor taste. My frined who worked there changed the designation from hearse to station wagon and I got it. The plate??? PLANTM
Anyway since I have a board of my own I undestand introductions are in order, and I am glad to be here.
