They don't teach math in school anymore. It's all equal opportunity, warped history, and touchy feely shit. Let the machines do the math, and today's students can become tomorrow's idiocracy.

I wouldn't compare etiquette to knowledge. Nerds to that all the time and don't care.

As far as teaching of math goes they still do as far as I know, but just enough to get by. The smart kids can always elect to take higher level classes when they blow past the lower ones.

Here's a good question, what is more important. Reading or math? Seriously I'd like to know because I can't imagine living without either skill.
