  • Best to sell your hearse now

Next year, you're most likely to be assessed a large carbon tax on it, courtesy of Obama/Palosi. Even your breathing will be taxed.

I just talked to Tony...the government has taken over GM, and after a year, they are going to push you into buying a new car, some electric shitbox, by making it so that you're not upside down on your loan. Ford and Chrysler can't match that, so they'll go Socialist or fold too.

Go to the online ammunition stores, or check your town. The shelves are bare, aren't they? Everyone is buying up the ammunition, and people who have never owned guns before are buying them by the buttload.

This is going to get bad. I'm glad I lived 45 reasonably good years, because the premier of China just told Obama that he is being too Communist. China...the most Communist country in the world.

I'm too tired to organize anything, but I'll fight on the right side when it happens, till the food runs out. Hope you all will too.

I heard they were thinking about some kind of high tax for vehicles that put out a lot of carbon.

And as for the ammo...HOLY SHIT!!! we were in Bass Pro shop last night and the ammo isle was half bare! Out of stock on literally half the ammo they carry!

Go to ammoman.com. Everything he has is sold out. I wanted Silvertips for my .357 to pass my concealed carry permit 6 months ago, and I couldn't get them, even at Jensen's. All they had was half-jacketed hollow point, and I mean that was the ONLY .357 ammo they had, when you used to have a dozen choices. It's only going to get worse, as people fight to keep their homes and property.

A 67-year-old friend of mine, living in Texas now, retired, lost 60% of his 401k, and tried to go back to work. He was needed badly, as were two others I know of who left because their workload was too high, and they couldn't get back in. I wouldn't have a chance, even if I could work. The company is going to fold.

For now, you can still work the stock market. I made $50 on Safeway, but then the Dow dropped. I got out just in time. I'm in the red on my XOM, but I've been told to hold it, and I've recovered $100 of my losses. There is a 20% prediction that the market will collapse, though, and unemployment is getting close to the last depression.

Ordinarily, there are certain enforcers that I would recommend leaving alone, because they may switch sides, and I've always been a strong supporter of our military, but I don't know where they're headed. What bothers me the most is that people in high positions seem to feel that there is no sin in lying to those beneath them, and as liars, will always assume that we are lying to them as well. I am honest, and there are few things in this world that piss me off more than being called a liar, or even implied as such.

BTW, is it time to legalize and tax the drugs now, get people who won't fight out of the gene pool, and stop the invasion (which now covers half of Texas)?

In other news, April 15th, trucks will surround the beltway and shut down, thus shutting down most of the government. We still have another year and a half before we can start to fix congress, so I think we're really in trouble. I hope the war doesn't break out before it happens...congress is signing everything that Palosi hands them right now, and we all know what a cunt she is. I wouldn't be surprised if she is a foreign plant, like Obama.

I could sure use some good news.

I have a 20,000 rounds or so of ammo total for all my firearms ranginf from .17-.45 cals (Pistol & rifle). Got lots of armor piercing & steal jacket from military surplus as well. I think I am pretty well set, or at least for now.

As far as the taxation, I do not think they can get anything to stick on the older cars of any variety that will need to get grandfathered in. Likely they will aim those policies on the SUV consumers. There are PLENTY of basic old sedans out there guzzlin' away at gas that they cannot tax as they are the only method of transportation for some that cannot afford to replace them.

The government doesn't care shit about the poor. That's why they have such strict emissions standards for cars, and trying to get some of the millions of dollars that your company has put in for disability, which has already been replaced by IOUs and put into slush funds, is nearly impossible, as long as you're breathing.

I wouldn't brag about the ammunition. Since Obama and friends can't get rid of the guns, they're going after the ammo. Soon, ammunition is going to be required to have a serial number stamped on every bullet, as if it would be readable after a shooting, and a matching one on the case. A person possessing ammunition without the numbers will pay a fine of $5,000 per round, which means that many gun owners will be in hock for an amount somewhere around the national debt.

I'm told that if you want to piss off the cops, go get a Russian CZ52. They're a cheap handgun, an eyesore, but you can get one for less than a hundred bucks. They fire ammo that looks like little rifle cartridges, and they'll go right through a vest.

The "cash for clunkers" programs are getting defeated, which is good news, but unfortunately, instead of rebelling against their parents, the children of hippies have taken on the same greenie weenie values, and are buying into the global warming junk science like candy. They will do everything they can to get your old cars crushed.

Like Mr. Heston said about his guns, "They will have to pry them out of my cold dead hands."

i think you're talking about the 7.62x25 round. tt tokarev, among other pistols fire those. C96 mausers fire a similar round

BTW, I never rely on a decocking mechanism to sharply drop the hammer, even on my fairly new Ruger. I always keep my thumb on the hammer and let it down slowly. All it does is lift a sear in front of the firing pin, and any sear can be worn, missing, stuck, or, as in the case of the secondary sear on the 1911, deliberately tampered with (oops, I didn't say that!)

That's correct. The CZ 52 fires the 7.62mm Tokarev cartridge, the projectile of which reaches prodigious velocity, well more than enough to penetrate most vests, considering the very small frontal profile.
