  • Our Bumble Bee is home!!!

The wife and I are GM freaks. We are now back up to 9 cars in the stable. Don't worry the Hearse is not going anywhere. I enjoy it too much.

Anyway we have been following the Camaro concept since the unveil in Jan 06 detroit. We were there with the other 250 enthusiast to see it drive thru cobo hall to its turn table. Since that unveil I fell in love with the car and have wanted it. A year later GM unveiled the Convertable at the GM style event. We were there for it. Later GM sent out messages looking to get 12 people to submit essays on their passion for the Camaro. This focus group would be given the name the 12 disciples. My wife (SunsethawkSelena) was picked to be part of the focus group where she was brought to Detroit twice. In Detroit she was able to drive the Camaro Iver cars and preproduction intent cars as time progressed. The group was involved in telling GM what people wanted in a Camaro. The whole story has also made it into a book with 2 photos of her with the focus group. The book is called Camaro a legend reborn. She placed the order for our 2010 Camaro and her disciple status allowed us to get the car fast.

So here is Bumble Bee 2010 Camaro RS SS 6speed manual with LS3 426 HP. Car #192

I am so, so happy to see a car that doesn't have those idiotic Japanese slanted headlights. They even put them on Cadillacs, and Volvo/Mack trucks. The spirit of the 60's Camaros shines through, and it is one of the very few new cars that I really like. Unfortunately, I doubt that you'll get all 12 disciples in it at once, unless they're experienced car clowns.
