I guess I've unintentionally been keeping this mod a loosely guarded secret. I have a bunch of pictures of how I've gotten this far with it, and I keep saying I'm going to put them into some sort of thread documenting my progress, but I never get around to it. I started working on the dual "Frankenchief" siren idea about a year ago, and today it really started to come together. Just have to do some more minor fitting and permanently install everything and I can send the exposed bits off to the chrome shop.

What you don't see in the video is the B&M Super Chief shrouds that will be mounted to make the sirens look like the bumper bullets that I removed. That will really pull it all together.

I wonder if it would make sense to offset the time to start them by like half a second? Give them a real annoying off frequency sound that would make heads split. =)

I may have to. That run was on my 200 amp charger/starter and they sound more like an air raid warning than a siren. I don't know what they'll do with the battery and alternator.

I'd like to get back at the subwoofer "nigger music" assholes across the alley, who actually put their speakers outside. You know, I live exactly one block away from Sirenman John, and I have never heard him test a siren. Not one dB. He has somehow managed that much consideration for his neighbors, whereas the trash across the alley thinks it's cute to rattle windows. The more their hearing is lost, the louder they turn it up. Then there are the Harley riders who have taken the baffles out of their exhaust, and rev up their bikes for an hour, which serves no purpose but to bother people. You can always spot someone with no mechanical knowledge at all...they think that revving up their engines will make them run better. These Obama-cum guzzlers will grow up deaf, and blame it on poor free medical treatment from the state.

This is an actual conversation between me an a neighbor, which resulted in me calling the police the next time it happened.

"Excuse me, but your stereo was a little loud yesterday. Would you mind keeping it down a little, for your neighbors' sake?"

"What?"

"WOULD YOU KEEP YOUR GOD DAMN STEREO DOWN!!! PLEASE!!!"

"No speaka English".

I had to call the cops one time, and the cop told me that he threatened to take the bitch to jail, and she still kept claiming that it was her right to play it as loud as she wanted (not true), but when he threatened to take her stereo away, she turned it down. She thought more of that stereo than she did of herself. That's just fucking sad. Maybe she was a crack whore, or sniffed too much spray paint. It's hard to imagine anything else pulling a person's self-esteem and good sense down that far.

The way I fight back, sometimes, is to put on a thunderstorm CD and turn my volume all of the way up, while occasionally flashing some very bright white lights outside. Every time it hits, they come out of their houses to see if it's going to rain and there isn't a cloud in sight...but that affects other neighbors. Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire. I've also thrown fireworks, real fireworks from the Indian reservations, over their fence while they were having backyard parties. I like to hear them scream.

Isn't it funny how these people are always renters, and not owners?

I wish we had above-ground power...I would blow out the transformers with my M34 and just switch my house over to backup power...hope that the noise from the generator doesn't bother the neighbors, but it probably doesn't. I can't hear an 8HP industrial engine in my bedroom, which tells you just how loud those stereos are.

I don't know what you get off the rez for fireworks..... but I saw one of these thingamajigs it looked like a golf ball with a green string hanging out that sparkled when fire was put to it...when it quit doing that.....there was a flash and thunderous loud noise and a shock wave that made my nuts bang together....and I was around 60 feet away....hope they have a good fence...
