  • The most important poll we've ever done.

Which do you like better? You can like both, but you like one more than the other. This poll is so scientific, we aren't even counting LMS being an asshole as a deciding factor.

To be honest he wasn't my favorite. As far as the old school goes I liked Jon Pertwee best. However I've only gotten up to the fifth doctor since I'm missing the episode where he transforms into the sixth. Who knows I might like 6 or 7 better.

        That scarf was awesome though.

If "LMS is an asshole" isn't on the poll, it's not valid.

And everyone knows Space 1999 kicked both Star Wars and Star Trek's asses.

Star Trek gets my vote just for the special effects of the day were unmatched....by comparison and what was available Star Wars doesn't even come close.. Even though have the Bridge on Star Trek were Gay.... Luke wanted to screw his Sister and kill his Father and that somehow is wrong on several counts....So Yea STAR TREK it is....
Phazers set to stun and slap the Capt. on the buns......Energize....

Oh God I'm going to Hell.......Giddy-up!

Well ILM pulled off some great stuff with absolutely no CG.

Star Trek had cardboard for the shuttlecraft doors though that was lowered on strings which was cool from a prop guy perspective. However it had some ridiculously bad acting too.

Star Wars has the 501st troopers in real life, lego star wars, light sabers, and Darth Vader.

Star Trek has "The USS Make Shit Up"

              and "Steam Trek"

Each have a HUGE following. I still can't decide though. More research is needed.

                What a fruity question

This is like comparing bananas to oranges. Yes, they're both edible... but one is long and often comical, while the other is juicy and comes in sections (unless you buy the box set).

if it's the classic vs classic i'd have to say star wars.

but the new star trek movie just hands down kicked episodes 1,2 & 3
into sumbission like the whiney little bitch that darth vader really was.

I am a Shattner Trek fan, couldn't stand all the other Star Trek stuff.
I have not seen the new movie so hopefully it will make up for years of crappy next gen bullshit.

As for Star Wars I loved the original 3 movies except for the stupid ass ewoks, but the newer 3 were on the sucky side of the force.

I can't really compare the Star Wars movies to the Star Trek tv series, it just doesn't work that way.
Star Wars was better by far than the Star Trek movies of past.
However if Lucas had made a Star Wars tv show I don't think I would have enjoyed it as much as Star Trek.

On a different note Tom Baker was hands down the best Doctor Who. I can't even watch the new stuff.

I also loved Space 1999, but boy did they ever lie to us, just like the jetsons.
