Sadly, British actress Mollie Sugden, best-known for her role as "Mrs Slocombe" in the television comedy series "Are You Being Served?" from 1972 to 1985, has died at the age of 86. They still rerun this series on PBS & it's the series that got me hooked on British comedy. I've seen every episode 100 times probably but still get a laugh out of those old reruns. Don't know how many British comedy fans there are here on NHAA, but she was a great actress & very funny. She died July 1st. Wow, we're sure losing alot of celebs lately.

Well after just watching the new movie "Gran Torino" I would guess it will be Clint. He looks terrible in it. Although I think he could still kick some major ass if called appond. Good movie to see.

Does Steve McNair count? Looks like it's gonna be a murder-suicide with this one. Steve was neat to watch quarterback for the Titans... someone that big rarely earns a spot as quarterback. Latest news says he was shot 4 times, twice in the head & twice in the chest. His girlfriend had a single shot to the head... & a gun under her body. Also she was pulled over a couple days ago & got a DUI... they let McNair take a taxi on home.
