  • Paid off my Harley today.

Bought it in April '05, paid off TODAY.

    I'm pretty happy about that.

We are diligently trying to become debt free - and now, other than the houses, the only thing I owe money on is a capital one card, an unsecured line of credit and my corolla - all of which will be paid off by April (other than the houses).

Tired of being broke all the time.

Congrats on paying off the harley! Good goal to be debt free too, means more money to be spent on the playtoys!

The hard part is putting all of your toys and projects on hold until everything is paid off and have replenished the savings account for a few months. I figure I can keep sane for a year, get my shit paid off and sock some money into the bank (and up my investments) before I go bezerk on my toys again.
