Wanna Shoot a Zombie?

I friend of mine, Pete and Artist Dane Cook came up with these. They were selling the shit out of them at DragonCon. These are actual police style targets with kill zones and everything.

Right now they only have the Zombie target but he told me he will soon have ones of werewolves, clowns, nosferatu vampires, and others. 6 styles in all if I remember right. They are waiting on the printers to finish the first run before posting them on their site. These things are way too cool.

Actually, zombie targets have been around for a long time, I always thought they were way cool. It's cool to see more people making them now, so there's more of a variety of different styles.

I hope they do well.

Having recently spent my hearse fund on zombie contingent gear, I may as well order up some of those targets. I might have to save one, as I think it would make for a great poster.

Yeah, that's a good idea. These 5.56mm carbines make such small holes (in paper), though, that I'm thinking it would look better to do one with a 9mm or .45 ACP handgun.

Pssst... Just between you and me, I think some folks might be using zombies as a metaphor. I mean, it's almost like they're buying firearms, and practicing with them, in preparation for defending themselves against something other than zombies, or something. Just sayin'...

I use the term "zombies" in that manner all the time. I would love it if a real zombie outbreak happened, but the term has come to mean any end of civilization scenario.
And I am very prepared.

It depends on your zombie. The Resident Evil zombies you can shoot anywhere basically and take them out. Or in the case of 4 with the "las plagas" in them use the sniper with the infra red scope to view the heat and take them out. Or the Return of the Living Dead series of movies you're just screwed because nothing kills them ever. You might be able to burn them but then it becomes air-born and infects others anyway.
