That Mustang is sweet! Should haul with that 351!!!
Old cop cars rule, this is our first race car that we built with my brother at the wheel, and I in my Six66 pontiac that unfortunately went to the big junkyard in the sky not long after this pic was taken. The 94 is a retired Las Vegas Mtero car, started as a patrol car on the strip, the was a high speed chase training car, it was an awsome dirt track car!!!

What does it have that makes it a cop car still rather than just a regular car?

My friend Wally has a nice Crown Victoria cruiser. I also see a lot of them being used as taxis now too.

The police interceptors have a little different set up in the computer on fuel ratios and shift points, a little better intake system for smoother air flow. Lower rear end gears, stiffer springs, bilstein shocks, bigger brake rotors all the way around, firestone 'pursuit' firehawk tires....lots of 'cop' stuff, just like the bluesmobile!!! I'm lucky enuf to have a job where I get to drive cop cars all day, after I drill holes in them that is!!!!

Weeelllllllll......to day I went to a shop run by a buddy of mine and got use of 1 of his racks for a couple hours, and holy dogshit batman, I was pleasantly suprised. Here's the list of what i was able to uncover without tearing the whole motor down.

                    Engine:

351 Windsor roller motor. Late 60's early 70's model. Probably out of a mach 1 or torino ect.
                    675 CFM Holley
                    High rise intake
Hooker full tube headers 3 inch pipe throughout dual flowmasters with 4 outlets, 2 out the back and 2 turn downs.( kinda odd but it sounds great so whatever right?)
It obviously has some decent grade of cam in it.
                    MSD ignition system

                    Trans:
Top loader 4 speed with a decent clutch in it, but i think i want one beefier.

                    Suspension:
Now here are where all the real suprises came up....

Steeda full rear upper and lower control arms.
                    All new Steeda Springs.

I had a budget for my new toy of 4 grand. That includes purchase price of the vehicle and whatever it needs/ I want to do to it.

I got this car for 2500.00. I shit you not.
Which leaves me a large sum to play with on it.
                    But......

Everything I had in mind to do to the car has already been done, to the point I am almost speechless about it.

ONLY thing it needs are 2 inner tie rods and I want to beef up the stabilization in the rear, cause if i launch off at 4k rpm, it gets a little squirrley. And to be honest when I was driving it on the wet roads today it was scary. I coudlnt NOT spin them through 3rd.
It needs subframe connectors. and a "cross shock" and some other shock absorbing add on thing that goes on the upper sides of the rear suspension. Keeps the rear axle from shifting and causing me to cut the rear loose too often.

Oh yeah, lol. Had the car less than 24 hours and already got pulled over twice. I just bought the car yesterday so they couldnt do shit about it, but you could tell they were kind of pissed. I know they were thinking....

" fucking skin headded tattoed punk flying around town in a GSP mustang and we get stuck with these POS Impalas, what the fuck"
