Nikki and I were trying to find some metal tins for her to give home made soap out for Christmas (she's making me some shaving soap too) and we ended up at an antique shop - tucked in a little alcove was this little gem.

It's a 1921 Woodstock Standard Typewriter Model No. 5. I've almost got it working - I'm still trying to figure out the escapement that advances the carriage, but as soon as I've got that whooped it should be ready to go. Obviously I'll need to get some new ink ribbons for it. This thing has some of the coolest gears in it.
