I was just wondering...
Why do hotels, and so many other places that we pay money to be in, have sucky Internet access? I mean, really...I have Internet access at home that is hundreds of times faster than what I'm getting here at the Holiday Inn, and I'm just a stupid redneck truck driver. Why is it that a business that is getting a hundred bucks a night per guest can't afford the same Internet access that I have at home? Fiber has been around for what...thirty years or so?
And while we're on the subject...why do I have considerably better wines at home, better steaks, better food in general, better cable television, and a nicer toilet seat than I have at most hotels...even the more expensive ones? I mean, it only costs about $20-30 per person per day to stay at my house, and that includes the fucking food, and the wines.
OK, maybe a little more if you consider that most of the wine and liquor bill is mine, but still...I mean...why does a person have to spend a thousand bucks or more a day to get the same shit at a hotel that they have at home? Is it, perhaps, that the average person does not appreciate the nicer things, and is perfectly happy at a Holiday Inn, or a Red Lion, a Sizzler, or Red Lobster...that crappy California Merlot shit that they all serve for wine? Soggy eggs and bacon for breakfast...if you they give you biscuits and gravy, they act like they're doing you a big fucking favor. If they have Corona, they think they're serving international beer.
Does anybody appreciate what I'm saying, or are most people happy with the hotels and restaurants that are available when they travel?
Bitch bitch bitch bitch bitch
