WHERE TO BUY AMERICAN GASOLINE…THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO KNOW. READ ON.

Gas rationing in the 70's worked even though we grumbled about it. It might even have been good for us!

Are you aware that the Saudis are boycotting American products? In addition, they are gouging us on oil prices.
Shouldn't we return the favor? Can't we take control of our own destiny and let these giant oil importers know who REALLY generates their profits, their livings? How about leaving American Dollars in America and reduce the import/export deficit?

An appealing remedy might be to boycott their GAS… Every time you fill up your car you can avoid putting more money into
the coffers of Saudi Arabia. Just purchase gas from companies that don't import their oil from the Saudis.
Nothing is more frustrating than the feeling that every time I fill up my tank, I'm sending my money to people who I get the
impression wants me, my family and my friends dead. The following gas companies import Middle Eastern oil:

    Shell..................................... 205,742,000 barrels
    Chevron/Texaco...................... 44,332,000 barrels
    Exxon /Mobil......................... 130,082,000 barrels
    Marathon/Speedway.............. 117,740,000 barrels
    Amoco.................................. 62,231,000 barrels

And CITGO oil is imported from Venezuela by
Dictator Hugo Chavez who hates America and openly avows our economic destruction! (We pay Chavez's regime nearly $10 Billion per year in oil revenues!)

The U.S. currently imports 5,517,000 barrels of crude oil per day from OPEC. If you do the math at $100 per barrel, that's over
$550 million PER DAY ($200 BILLION per year!) handed over to OPEC, many of whose members are our confirmed enemies!!!!! It won't stop here - oil prices could go to $200 a barrel or higher if we keep buying their product.

Here are some large companies that do not import Middle Eastern oil:

    Sunoco........................... 0 barrels
    Conoco.......................... 0 barrels
    0ASinclair..................... 0 barrels
    BP / Phillips.................. 0 barrels
    Hess............................... 0 barrels
    ARC0.............................. 0 barrels
    Maverick......................... 0 barrels
    Flying J.......................... 0 barrels
    Valero........................... 0 barrels
Murphy Oil USA *........... 0 barrels

*Sold at Wal-Mart, gas is from South Arkansas
and fully USA owned and produced. Not only that but they give scholarships to
all children in their town who finish high school and are legal US citizens.

All of this information is available from the
U.S. Department of Energy and each company is required to state where they get
their oil and how much they are importing.

It may not matter soon. Saudis are not happy with their government and could go the way of other middle eastern counties of late.
If Saudi Arabia breaks down like Egypt, Lybia, and many others in the region world oil prices will skyrocket. We could easily see $20.00 a gallon prices IF you can even find gas to buy.

Saudi Arabia is drafting in up to 10,000 security forces to the north eastern Muslim Shia provinces ahead of mass protests planned next week.

              Sunoco........................... 0 barrels
BP / Phillips.................. 0 barrels (They're all over, but fuck them)
Valero........................... 0 barrels (hard to find but worth it)

Not that it matters much because they'll increase prices to match the others. It's a fucking oil cartel and they do what they can to max the profits.

I always use BP. They are always the cheapest gas around me. They are usually 15-20 cents cheaper than everywhere else. And even more so when everyone was boycotting them.

That is a noble concept to buy American oil. I don't buy anything of foreign manufacture when I can avoid it. The ugly reality is that oil prices reflect a world market, and "concern" about unrest in Libya is as good a reason as any to raise prices whether the supply is disrupted or not. This country has not been able to make all it's own oil since the end of WWII. Fossil fuel is a losing proposition for the future no matter how you look at it. The faster we use it up and move to the new energies of the future, the better. BTW I collect 472s and 500s to do my part for consumption!

Just curious to see what gas prices everybody is paying....

For example in the UK I live on the west coast, and petrol is sold by the litre, now 5 litres is roughly a gallon, and I pay £1.35 per litre.= £6.75 a gallon. Now if you convert todays rate of exchange which is: 1 U.S. dollar = 0.612557427 British pounds

                      6.75 British pounds = 11.019375 U.S. dollars

Yep... we pay about $11.00 per gallon. what do you pay near to you?

My hearse does about 12-15 mpg.....

                      The results should be interesting.

Regular is about 3.60-3.70 per gallon. But of course everything costs more in this state. I'm Mr. Howell.

Our gas in WV is around $3.55 - $3.60 a gallon. With comparison of what you pay it seems quite drastic. However, there are a lot of other variables in the mix than just the price of gas. Average incomes. If gas would go to $11 a gallon overnight here, I would loose half of my income. I would in essence have to find another job to afford to go to work. Cost of living and Housing prices all figure in also. Also, the amount of fuel the average person consumes traveling to work. Myself, I have to travel 35 miles a day for work alone.

However, my situation should improve a little. The truck I was driving only got around 16 mpg. I say was, because it got totalled last week because idiots around here have decided that they can cross traffic whenever they please without looking. Anyway, my replacement is a little 35 mpg highway 4 cylinder.

Search for cheap gas prices in Detroit, Michigan; find local Detroit gas prices & gas stations with the best fuel prices.

There are a bunch of these sites for different areas.

Oh look here's a story on us. I wouldn't be surprised at $4/gal by Summer.
