I guess that says it all. They look after their common welfare, therefore they all survive. It's too bad America has abandoned that principle. We actually think pushing the next guy aside is admirable behavior.

We'll at least we know in that case Ted Kennedy wasn't to blame.Originally posted by LMS View PostHere is one that is really fucked. Watch at 14 seconds in, a car is going over the wall and there is someone in it. You can see them pound on the rear window then disappear.
How sucky would that be?

I guess I look at things differently than most, not surprising. The first thing I thought after reading the last statement in the article "The Japanese, from a young age, are socialized to put group interest ahead of individual interest. Many criticize them for deference to authority, abundant rules and conformity, but this is the fabric of social cohesion that keeps Japan together," Now I understand Kamikaze mentality, it was instilled in the Japanese as soon as they are born. I'm not into conformity, but if it works for them, who am I to argue?Originally posted by Mohawk Freak View PostI guess that says it all. Yeah that's a 2 edged sword there. Not unlike America in the 50's. I guess the ideal scenario is when people stick together for their common good but still respect each others differences. They do have a downside in the common thought thing when it's time to think outside the box and nobody does or dares to.
