I took my 63 Superior to a glass shop. If its the front window with a vent, remove the vent so the glass ca slide forward. If its the back door glass, I have no clue. I'll ask when I bring my 63 M&M to get the back door glass replaced.

I've pulled enough '54 through '56 vent windows...

Remove door panel first. Remove 3 or 4 screws near the top of the door holding the vent window's framework. Remove the screw holding the window regulator next. Finally, there is a screw at the bottom of the framework's "anchor", often hidden, a few inches off bottom of door edge. The regulator will not slide off easily. Coax it loose with a narrow flathead screwdriver. After off, pulling the vent window up & out involves twisting between 90-120 degrees. By this time you'll see what I mean.

Also a good time to inspect for cracks near the pressure point where the vent frame lets go.

If nothing is rusty, process usually takes me 20-30 minutes with door handle clips being main variable.

Guys, can't thank ya enough for the info. I will give it a try as soon as the rain leaves. I know what you mean about hidden screw's. I found the screw for the bottom of the window track hidden under a plop of some sort of putty? strange....
