Replied with a copy of the original ad for $1800.00 saying I would purchase it for the original price.

Have yet to hear from them.

Haha! Good idea, nothing to lose, right?
I did the same with a 58 MM Ambulance a while back now.. Similar situation. He told me to stop smoking weed. Funny that.. I didn't even know i smoked in the first place. Wonder what you'll find out?

I'm sure we'll find out that a 1960 Flxible is not worth almost 9K even in MUCH better condition than this one is.

              What a turdburgler.

How much would a lengthened body '59 buick be worth?? ..I'm only aware of one, Did they make alot more '60's or something? It looks a bit too short for my liking.

It is a Flxette, built on a convertible frame. The Premiers were built on a stretched frame. My source says 110 Flxettes were made in 1960.

110 made, that is the most common surviving 60 Flxible body style and its worth 2500-3000 max. I believe that car originaly came out of Washington state. I found some pics 10 years ago and not for sale at the time. It was bought then for a few hundred bucks then resold and fell off the grid. I was told about it on the HAMB but lack of money stopped my interest.

only 50 or 51 1959's were made by Flxible. 196 1960's were built.

This shit happens all the time, I lost out on the 60 Flxette in Ohio to a guy like that. I bought the car off Craigslist and paid for it. A week later I got my 2500.00 certified check back from the owners and the douche got the car after offering 3000 cash. Then he offered the car to me for 6500.00 I said no and he Ebayed it 6 times no buyers. I eventually bought it from him for 3000.00 on Ebay, he started dodging my pick up guys costing me 200 a pop then hit me with 300 a month storage fees. I was told the car was vandilized and all sorts of bullshit so I wouldn't want it. This went on for a year, I never got the car. The car was demo derbied at a fair 3 years ago by his brother was totaled and crushed. And that was why it has never resurfaced or so I was told.

That Buick didn't happen to be in Washington Courthouse did it? If so, I went rounds with the same yokel.
