Correct me if im wrong but.. "Very rare superior upgraded aluminum rear brush guards" Aren't they factory on all superiors? Otherwise, Nice coach.

well there not really called brush guards. It is crown royal trim. It is standard on Superior crown royal cars.
It is an option on all other Superiors. Here is an example of a Superior with out it.

        Learnt two new things there..
I thought the trim was on all superiors.. And i thought a Superior Landau always has the rear wrap around window!
Suppose that's only on a Landaulette then eh?

Landaulette was just a term that Superior used for Landau coach.. .. The corner windows on a superior are called a Royal. Basically all these names are terms for options on how the car was ordered from the factory. For example A Superior Landaulette Crown Royal would have Landau bars, A crome piece that wraps around the roof starting behind the rear door and the rear corner windows... A Superior Landaulette sovereign Would have the bars, no chrome piece on the roof and no rear corner windows.

Ah right. I knew off the chrome wrapping around the top part being the crown, but wasn't sure of Royal and Sovereign ment other than terms of advertising. Interesting, Thanks

What a great coach! I'm sure after the sudden popularity of Thundertaker that others will be looking for a dope '60.

Couple of very minor corrections to Mr X's otherwise spot-on assessment.

Landaulet was Superior's proprietery term. Royale means corner windows.
